Sill Optics is one of only a few mid sized companies in Germany specialized in the production of optical components. Its philosophy “100% Made in Germany” is maintained throughout its own production and supplier chain.
A long term experience in production and a flexibility for serving our customer demands has been grown since the beginning in 1894. Within the last 10 years more than 10 million EURO have been invested in latest production technology and test equipment.Sill Optics own in house development department with latest optical and mechanical design tools enables us to build high performance lenses for applications in machine vision, laser optics, aspheres and all other sub-areas of photonics in the optical industry.
Our company currently employs 173 people, 135 of them (including 24 apprentices) manufacture and assemble precision lenses and mounts. 50% of these employees are skilled technicians for professionally dealing with fine optics, fine mechanics or special tools. Additional qualified technicians check the quality of our lenses after every production step and the coating process on a 100% level.
The main strength of Sill Optics lies in the field of customized solutions, from design up to series production of optical systems and components on a continuous high level of quality.
