We are looking for a Global Key Account Manager (m/f/d) to join our Global Sales team, as soon as possible.

 

Global Key Account Manager (m/f/d)

 

Your responsibilities:

•    Systematizing the company’s sales activities for the assigned area in coordination with the Head of Sales
•    Providing solution-oriented support from customer development through to contract conclusion, in close collaboration with the development team and sales management
•    Identify current and future market requirements and translate them strategically into recommendations and effective actions to drive sales success
•    Independently building and maintaining customer relationships through regular contact and on-site visits
•    Regularly support and manage global sales partners; systematically improve and expand the worldwide distributor network
•    Visit and support distributors at trade fairs on site
•    Analyze customer needs; develop and contribute to implementing customer-specific projects
•    Handle customer inquiries and prepare quotations in close cooperation with the team
•    Present and negotiate offers professionally at all levels and across the customer’s specialist departments
•    Actively use sales management tools (CRM, ERP, controlling, KPI systems, etc.)
•    Help shape a cross-functional, company-wide sales systematics and share know-how with sales colleagues

Your profile:

•    Completed technical degree or comparable qualification
•    Proven successful B2B sales experience in laser and optics, metrology and/or sensor technology
•    Demonstrated ability to work in a structured, systematic, and strategic manner
•    Experience in multi-channel sales with the channels: direct sales, distributors, and webshop
•    Confident, routine use of software tools (CRM, ERP systems)
•    Strong technical interest, curiosity, understanding, and analytical/strategic thinking
•    Professional demeanor, strong communication and presentation skills, social competence, and negotiation ability
•    Mindset oriented toward sustainable, profitable partnerships with customers
•    Willingness and ability to work in a team and to pass on knowledge and skills
•    Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
•    Pioneering spirit, creativity, and strong initiative to explore new paths and opportunities
•    Hands-on mindset typical of a medium-sized company
•    Very good English language and communication skills
