Wendelstein, March 2026: Sill Optics GmbH announces a change in its management: On March 16, 2026, Peter Lischewski assumed the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He succeeds Benjamin Sauter, who will leave the company at his own request in May 2026 to pursue new professional challenges outside of Sill Optics.
Benjamin Sauter has successfully guided Sill Optics through the challenging years of the pandemic and inflation since 2021. With great dedication and high professional expertise, he has driven forward the company’s digital transformation. The management and the entire team thank him for his valuable contribution and wish him all the best for his professional and personal future.
With Peter Lischewski, Sill Optics gains a successful executive with many years of experience in commercial management and strategic leadership. Through his more than seven years of work at Jenoptik AG (Laser and Material Processing Division), Peter Lischewski has also gained extensive experience in the laser industry. He therefore brings excellent qualifications to further develop Sill Optics both operationally and strategically.
In the coming weeks, Peter Lischewski and Benjamin Sauter will work closely together to ensure a smooth handover of responsibilities and a structured onboarding process. Together with CEO Dr. Guido Bonati, Peter Lischewski will then drive forward the strategic development of Sill Optics and further strengthen the company’s position as a leading manufacturer of precision optics and optical systems.
